I am in total agreement. I am Missionar...Well said. I am in total agreement. I am Missionary Baptist, but I agree totally. The church I attend has a Membership class, and we do exercise discipline when necessary. We had to remove a guy from the roles a few months ago due to some overt unrepentant sin. The sin landed him in prison. Our Elders tried to restore him, but he wouldn't yield. Therefore, we had to remove him from fellowship. Everything was done proper.I would even say that the Church postponed excommunication longer than I thought they should have. We all had high hopes that he would repent.
